Wailea Restaurant Week

Next Week is Restaurant Week in Wailea Nov. 5 - Nov. 11

Twice a year some of the finest restaurants on Maui participate in a celebration of culinary excellence called Wailea Restaurant Week!

Restaurant week is not only a time to enjoy delicious food, it also raises thousands of dollars for the Maui food bank.

Participating resort restaurants throughout Wailea put together pre-fixe entrees for $29, $39, $49 or $59 per person. No need to purchase a ticket or coupon just call ahead and make a reservation as these restaurants will fill up quickly.

This year I'm excited to try to pre-fixed meal at The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea - Smoked Kamuela Beets (crushed avocado, harissa, puffed grains, sunflower) or Truffle Risotto (cremini mushrooms, truffle butter, parmesan reggiano) Short Rib Bolognese (spaghetti, whipped ricotta, rosemary bread crumbs) or Steamed Kona Kampachi (Hirabara Farms Spinach, Olena Nam Pla) Molten Chocolate Lava Cake. Yum!

Other participating restaurants are Tommy Bahama, Gannon's, Ruth's CHris Steak House and Duo Steak and Seafood.
