Market Update

The stats are in, Maui's real estate market stayed strong through April with high single family home and condo sales prices. The median price of a single family home last month was $671,000, lower than February and March medians but .9% higher than April of last year. 

?For the first third of 2017 the median sales price of single family homes is $685,000, 11% higher than the first third of 2016.  The average sales price for this period is $997,319 which means there have been more higher-end transactions skewing the average.  The volume of home sales for this period was 329 sales, 4% lower than last year.

?Median prices for condos are also trending upward, with a median sales price of $490,563, 10.4% higher than April 2016.  Last month was the second highest monthly median price of 2017, behind March at $494,000.
