April Sales Statistics
April Sales
April was a good month for Maui real estate, 99 single family homes were sold, 13.8% more than last year. The median sales price of a single family home was at $680K, 17% higher than last year and close to a record high. April’s median single family home sales price was higher than any month of 2015.
Almost a quarter of the homes sold in April were in central Maui, though sales volume was down 35.9% from the previous year home values rose 7.5% to $532K. The second most homes were sold in Kihei, where 17 homes were sold, double that of April 2015. Kihei homes sold for a median sales price of $639K, 24.7% higher than last year.
Condo sales also increased 19% over last year with a total of 125 condos sold in April. Islandwide median condo sale price increased 8.5% to $440K.
