Buying Vs. Renting

Buying trumps renting in 66% of markets

Florida University created an index showing that on average throughout the country owning a home will produce greater wealth than renting.  Economist say the U.S. is still in cleat buy territory.  

The study even revealed that the two cities that have historically favored renting, Miami and Portland are moving toward a "toss up: between buying and renting.

Overall though, throughout the country it is more affordable to make monthly house payments on a 3 bedroom property than it is to pay rent on for a 3 bedroom property.
