FORBES compiled a list of the largest companies in each state by market cap.  Many globally recognized companies made the list, such as CocaCola, Wal-Mart and Nike in theire respective headquarted states of Georgia, Illinois and Oregon.  In Hawaii, Hawaiian Electric Industries topped the list with the highest market cap in the state at $3.3 billion.  Bank of Hawaii and Hawaiian Holdings which Hawaiian Airlines belongs to also made the list.
