Four Seasons Resort Maui Announces 2025 Festivals of Aloha Lineup

Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, Hawaiʻi’s acclaimed five-star, five-diamond destination, is proud to welcome back the Festivals of Aloha for its fourth consecutive year. From Friday, October 24 to Sunday, October 26, 2025, guests and the local community are invited to enjoy a weekend of vibrant Hawaiian cultural programming set against the stunning backdrop of Wailea.
Curated by the Resort’s beloved Director of Hawaiian Programs, Aunty Mopsie Tuivaioge, this year's celebration highlights some of Maui Nui’s most respected cultural practitioners. The festival features a diverse lineup of live performances, cultural workshops, storytelling, and artisan markets, all part of the larger statewide Festivals of Aloha initiative honoring Hawaiian traditions and values.
“All are welcome,” says Tuivaioge. “These celebrations are about honoring our kūpuna, sharing our stories, and perpetuating the aloha spirit through mele, hula, and community connection.”
Weekend Highlights
Friday, October 24
The festival begins with a traditional opening ceremony, followed by the return of the Carmen Hulu Lindsey Leo Ha‘iha‘i Falsetto Contest, the groundbreaking all-female falsetto competition now in its second year.
Saturday, October 25
Experience Hula is the Heartbeat, a dynamic showcase featuring four of Maui’s most esteemed hālau hula, performing live to the music of The Lim Family, one of Hawaiʻi’s most cherished musical groups.
Sunday, October 26
The weekend concludes with the Sounds of the Sea concert, headlined by Kamaka Kukona, a Grammy-nominated artist and multiple Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winner. The evening will also include hula performances by Hālau o Ka Hanu Lehua, creating a memorable night of mele, hula, and storytelling under the stars.
