Kaiwahine Village Now Accepting Residents

Kaiwahine Village, one of Maui’s newest affordable housing developments is now accepting residents. The community consists of 64 two-bed units, and 56 3-bed units along with on-site staff, property management, and amenities like parking, a clubhouse, laundry facilities, and outdoor space for the Keiki. Inside each unit, there will be energy-efficient appliances, durable hard flooring, ceiling fans, solar hot water, and other upgrades designed to save residents even more money every month.

Since this is an affordable housing community, the eligibility of an individual, couple, or family to lease one of these units will be based on income. Families earning between 30% and 60% of the area’s median income will be eligible to rent one of the units, with monthly rent payments ranging anywhere from $380 to $1100
