Boomerang buyers are those who previously could not qualify for a mortgage but can at a later date. With mortgage guidelines relaxing and it being tax season it is a great time to revisit home purchasing options.
As the economy continues to recover people are making more money than they have in past years. Mortgage companies have introduced new programs to help buyers who have trouble saving up for that scary down payment. Lenders are also offering flexible terms for those with poor debt to income ratios due to student loans or car payments.
Your credit can recover a lot faster than you may think. 81% of those who lost their home in a short sale are unaware they can purchase again after only 2 years. 79% of those who lost their home are interested in buying again, 46% of which say they plan to purchase in a lower price range than the first time.
