Market Update
Wailea ranked #10 on Priceline's Top Emerging Summer Travel Destinations. Bookings at Wailea's luxury hotel properties increased by 56% from Summer 2017. The data analyzes bookings between June 21st and September 21.
Alpharetta, Georgia ranked #1 with a 162% increase of bookings in one year. Other cities that made the list were Whitefish, Montana, West Hollywood, California and Park City, Utah.
This ranking is consistent with the reports released by the Hawaii Tourism Authority where Wailea continues to stand out in Hawaii's Hotel Performance report. In April, Wailea showed the highest revenue per room at $293 and a consistent occupancy rate of 79%.

P.S. - Maui sewer user rate will increase by an average of 3%, effective July 1, 2018. Single Family homes will notice a maximum increase of $2.22. Department of Environmental Management Wastewater Reclamation say the increase is necessary to keep facilities self-supporting.
