The Maui real estate statistics provided by the Realtors Association of Maui are in for February 2018.

RAM says, "The three most prominent national market trends for residential real estate are the ongoing lack of abundant inventory, the steadily upward movement of home prices and year-over-year declines in home sales." RAM also states that "higher prices also indicate a higher demand leading to competitive bidding".
New listings have decreased by 8.3% for single family homes and 6.5% for condos. Inventory decreased 13.5% for single family homes and 25.6% for condos.
According to the data, single family home sales on Maui increased 50.8% from this time last year and 10% from the month before.

P.S. - Maui students organize a "Concert for Our Lives" to end gun violence planned for March 24th. This star-studded event will feature participation from Jack Johnson, Willie Nelsen, Kris Kristofferson, Willie K, Landon McNamara, Lily Meola, and surprise guests. Proceeds will be donated to organizations that support Maui youth and working on a national level to end gun violence in schools.
