Market Update
June is National Homeownership Month. Americans place a high priority on homeownership, a recent survey by the National Association of Home Builders found that more than two-thirds of Americans believe homeownership is an essential part of the American dream.
Despite homeownership rates being at a near historical low of 64% others surveys too found that Americans still have a high desire for homeownernship. 80% of millenials surveyed say they hope to buy a home.
It is affordability that is the main obstacle. 36% of those same millenials surveyed said they'll likely need to save for 5 or more years before having enough to buy.

P.S. - Kihei was named #12 on BuzzFeed's 17 Incredible places before they become too cool List . A list compiled of places to visit before they become too overpopulated and crowded. We're not surprised Kihei made the list with it's white-sand beaches and waterfront restaurants.
