Market Update
We would like to remind Maui Homeowners that if you plan on filing for a homeowner exemption you have until the end of the year. It is a simple one page form available here, just file with the County of Maui before December 31, 2014.
You do not need to file a homeowner exemption every year. If you've filed in years past it will remain in effect until there is a change in status.
The homeowner exemption and tax rate will take effect on July 1st if you applied by Dec 31st. For more information visit the Maui county website.
