Market Update
2019 is flying by, and with that in mind let’s take a look at some of the numbers represented in our Maui real estate market! Sales are down island wide, but the median prices for Residential Homes, Condominiums and Vacant Land have all risen. For Residential Homes the current median price is $740K, for Condominiums it’s $522K and for Vacant Land the median price is sitting at $495K.
The South Maui market has been extremely active this year, specifically in Condo sales with 420 being sold in 2019. Central Maui has been more active with residential property sales, totaling around 173 and Upcountry Maui continues to lead in Vacant Land Sales with 23 sold so far this year.

P.S. As of July 1st, 2019 the use of Maui sewer and wastewater systems will increase by an average of 6%. Officials from the Department of Environmental Management Wastewater Reclamation Division say that the increase is due to a desire to keep the department financially stable and enable them continue improving and supporting their wastewater infrastructure. As an example, single family residential property owners will only see a maximum increase of $4.52 per month.
