Market Update
Breaking news form the White House, the FHA has announced they will reduce annual mortgage insurance premiums by 0.5% bringing them down to a historical low at 0.85%. This coupled with low mortgage interest rates and 2015's relaxed loan guidelines will hugely beneficial for the housing market.
Homeowners and first time home buyers will save millions in mortgage payments making this a great time to buy. For current homeowners this is an advantageous time to refinance particularly if you bought your home within the last 20 months.
We are seeing the effects of the low interest rates coupled with high rents making it an ideal time for first time buyers to enter the market. This is the reason why homes priced in the under $750K range are the hottest segment of today’s market.
