Market Update
Hurricane Lane dropped record rainfall over the islands, marking the third highest storm rainfall totals in the US since 1950. The majority of the rainfall was on the Big Island with Mountain View getting 51.53 inches.
Here on Maui some of the worst storm damage was in Haiku where a large sinkhole formed when a drain pipe collapsed upstream.
The Maui community remains strong amid the storm and fire aftermath that affected the island last week. There was a fire between Launiupoko and Kaanapali which caused damage to a total of 21 structures and burned 2,000 acres.
