Market Update
South Maui's real estate market has taken a turn for the better. We are witnessing a note-worthy decline in inventory. In turn price action is not only leveling off, but also slightly appreciating. Take a look at this table which illustrates the inventory decrease between January 1st and October 1st of this year. Kihei single family home inventory is leading the charge: Nearly 50% off January levels. Amazing!
This graph provides another view on what is happening in South Maui. Will these trends continue and spread island-wide? With Maui's high season for both tourism and real estate just around the corner, we say yes. How about you? What do you foresee?
